Such a comfortable stay for short visit. Fairly clean place with very-very nice staff members and sea views. Fantastic breakfast, a huge variety of meals. A balcony and a small mini fridge available in the deluxe queen room. Very central location in the center.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tulip hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. There is always somebody in the reception to answer questions or intretain guests. The location is fantastic so close to all the main sites. Our room was cozy but with all the comforts. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody spending a few nights in Istanbul. The breakfast spread is very tasty and served on a fantastic terrace with sea view.

The staff at Hotel Tulip House were very friendly and willing to help us make the best use of our stay through recommendations and advice. On several occasions we stopped in the reception area after a night out and talked to the guys about our day and other general conversation. They were all very happy to speak to us making the hotel seem very friendly indeed. They even upgraded us to a room with a balcony and a lovely view for a few nights as it was empty. The breakfast was simple but very nice and the staff running that area were always ready to help if needed. The local to central Istanbul was terrific, 5 mins walk to the Blue Mosque meant that we could always return to the hotel for a rest in the afternoon or to drop of some purchases. The hotel was always very clean and tidy too. Basically a lovely little hotel in a great location with staff that made our stay really special.
Nothing, for our budget I can't imagine finding a better hotel in Istanbul

I choose this hotel considering the fact that it offers the possibility to park a private car at the site. And in the old city sultanahmet it is not so easy to have this facility for free. But, even if you're not interested in this facility, the hotel has a very good position for visiting the main attractions of Istanbul by foot. Our room was clean, spacious, all electric devices working properly, the breakfast was open buffet, not amazing, but in a good turkish tradition, reasonable. I consider that it has a correct price for what it offers.
Not unplesant, but to be mentioned. If your room it is on a upper floor (more than 1) and if your not in a good shape for exercises, take care that the steps are not so easy to climb, the distance between the levels is not small and the steps are narrow and steep. Also, the hotel was nice and in good conditions, but the neigbourhood is an old one, and not all the buildings around look good. Not to blame the hotel, but if you want a refreshing and breathless view, hard to find in Old City and at this prices.

The stay was extra special for a short visit. We really enjoyed the convenience of the budget queen room with a sea-view. - the hotel had an absolutely perfect and magnificent location, not far from the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Sultan Ahmed Mosque.

Staff in any 5 stars hotel should stay in the Tulip House to training. Those guys are the friendliest I have ever seen. Location is very good for those that like to associate turism with walking. (5 minutes from the blue moske, 7 minutes from the grand bazaar). Tulip is totally worth!

The Hotel was excellent! Our room was very clean and we had the room with a balcony, sea view and a big bed. It was perfect for a romantic getaway and we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not huge, but enough to sleep and relax. Wireless was available throughout the whole hotel. Great!!

Brilliant central location close to Sultanahmet square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and other major attractions in Sultanahmet. the Old City Sultanahmet district was worth visiting.

The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was plentiful. The location was close enough to walk to the main Sultanahmet attractions, but set far enough apart from the main drag to enjoy a quiet night's sleep. One of the hosts will greet you at the closest metro stop and escort you to the hotel. The experience was well above average for the price range.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
